The Underground is an adult oriented venue that features theatrically driven magic. While each of our performers brings their unique style, one commonality we look for is a high-quality theatrical experience.

This is not a “Las Vegas Magic Show”.

We are storytellers.

The magic is powerful, connective, and hopefully resonates with the guests we host.

The Secret Class

Able to work venues from the largest stage to the most intimate room, Mark Haslam transports audience members into a place of intelligent wit and inexplicable events.

Mark's road to becoming a magician began in England’s Lake District. At a very young age he began performing in village halls, and at fifteen he was featured in a national television series. Now relocated to Southern California, Mark is a particular favorite at the private Hollywood nightclub, The Magic Castle. His seemingly effortless miracles have been enjoyed at some of America's most exclusive clubs, including The University Club in Manhattan, The Valley Hunt Club in Pasadena, and The California Club in Los Angeles. In venues from The Polo Lounge to Rockefeller Center's rooftop gardens, Mark has entertained an array of fascinating individuals with his style of refined entertainment.

Mark's one-man theatre show, The Secret Class, has been produced to great acclaim in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and New York. The show combines compelling storytelling with incredible sleight of hand to bring to life the appearance of a magician in a small English village. Rich in character and humor, the show explores how secrets are passed on and new magicians are nurtured.

The Underground is located beneath The Post Restaurant at The Stanley Hotel property.

Shows start promptly on time. Late arrivals cannot be admitted, rescheduled, or refunded.

Doors open 30 minutes prior to showtime.

We highly encourage arriving early to locate the theater, grab drinks from The Post upstairs, use the restroom, and be seated.

Food is not permitted in the theater.

Guests are seated by party size on a first come, first seated basis.

Shows in The Underground run 60-90 minutes in length.

There is NO RE-ENTRY should you leave during the performance.

Children under the age of 12 will not be admitted or refunded.
