The Underground is an adult oriented venue that features theatrically driven magic. While each of our performers brings their unique style, one commonality we look for is a high-quality theatrical experience.

This is not a “Las Vegas Magic Show”.

We are storytellers.

The magic is powerful, connective, and hopefully resonates with the guests we host.

Life and Other Deceptions

After years of honing his comedic chops on the stage and screen, Steve Valentine has finally merged his two loves -- magic and acting -- to create his autobiographical theatrical show, “Life & Other Deceptions.” Fusing his well known, wicked sense of humor with incredible sleight of hand and masterful storytelling, this hit one-man show takes you on a roller coaster ride through Steve’s wild life, featuring Hollywood gossip, hilarious comedy, never before seen magic, and incredible sleight-of-hand. Part performance art - part intricate magic act, Life and Other Deceptions is hilarious, dramatic, touching, intimate, raunchy, interactive and totally mind-blowing.

You may know TV star Steve Valentine from the recent Paramount+ “Monster High” movies, or  Disney’s “Wizards of Waverly Place the movie,” “House”, “The Big Bang Theory,” “MOM” “Hot In Cleveland”, in fact over 250 hours of TV and film.  Steve has carved out a unique place for himself in show business. However, few know that Valentine is internationally recognized as one of the greatest sleight-of-hand artists in the world, having received FIVE coveted awards from the world-famous Magic Castle alone. Steve has traveled the world, performing in over 25 different countries, and had the honor of entertaining our troops overseas, as well as ‘certain’ Royalty….

Attendance information :

The Underground is located beneath The Post Restaurant at The Stanley Hotel property.

Shows start promptly on time. Late arrivals cannot be admitted, rescheduled, or refunded.

Doors open 30 minutes prior to showtime.

We highly encourage arriving early to locate the theater, grab drinks from The Post upstairs, use the restroom, and be seated.

Food is not permitted in the theater.

Guests are seated by party size on a first come, first seated basis.

Shows in The Underground run 60-90 minutes in length.

There is NO RE-ENTRY should you leave during the performance.

Children under the age of 12 will not be admitted or refunded.
